Are you interested in learning how to meditate?  For me meditation was the single biggest driving factor in overcoming my fears and anxieties.  Since I learned to meditate, my life has been drastically different and more enjoyable, and I advocate for it to everyone I’m close with.

I’m trying to teach my wife and mother how to meditate at the moment, and it’s been a challenge to say the least.  Anyone have any good tips on how to meditate for beginners?

Hi Zach, Great post! Meditation takes patience and practice. Sometimes it’s best to begin with 10 minutes or so and increase your practice over time. I have been meditating for over 20 years and the best advice I can give to beginners is to simply close your eyes and begin by focusing on any tension you feel in your body and relax any parts of the body where you feel stress of anxiety. Once we have done this be still and watch your thoughts, just watch them passing through your mind without adding any more thoughts. Watch them as if they are clouds of energy moving, allowing them to pass from right to left in your inner vision. At first there may be lots of thoughts, but if we give them no attention they will just continue to roll and eventually they will dissipate altogether. After sometime you will notice that the thoughts will have longer gaps between them, focus deeply on the gaps which is pure consciousness. What we focus on expands as far as energy is concerned. So focus on the gaps and not the thoughts. Consider it as sort of a mind dump, where we can simply let go of the thoughts. There is nothing to “do” in a meditation but remain in our stillness without thoughts. It will feel amazingly refreshing and you will feel revitalized when you open your eyes.

That’s a great technique Christina! I spent a long time trying to learn how to do meditate. I found that focusing on my breathing helped a lot. Try to really feel the oxygen flow in and out of the lungs, slow circular breathing, and feel the sensation as it delivers oxygen to all your extremities. After doing this for a while, eventually I would feel my consciousness kind of align, and I was locked in to a great meditative state. When I came to, it feel like I had slept for a thousand years!

Hi Vinny, Thanks for connecting! Yes we can bring in the universal energy of all that exits. We need to do this … to build up our life force energy through our breath….it is very important to use these breathing techniques.

      Hi all!
Meditation is a great tool to reach higher levels of consciousness. It also can help us solve issues that seem difficult, clean our energy and even our home’s energy, in case we don’t have cats. (just kidding). This is what I’d like to introduce now. Was one of the techniques I was given in my very beginning. Can take 15 min or more.
Sit comfortably with your back straight. You may softly lean on a pillow but make sure you don’t bend squeezing your organs. (This is recommended generally for meditations). Take some time to relax your body as Christina mentioned above. Then, imagine the energy of your room as a grey cloud and breath it fearlessly deep, hold it a few seconds and exhale. While holding it, imagine it becoming pure white, as the beautiful white clouds we see in the blue sky. Continue for several breaths. You may increase your breaths while exercising day by day. End your meditation feeling relaxed in the cleaned space you just created. May this be helpful to all of you!
      Be well!

      Hi Lena,

This is a great technique. It feels almost as if you are coming out of a bubble of unending thoughts and back into the stillness of the light. It is always good to leave a space between the thoughts and not allow them to run together. Breath into the gaps between the thoughts until there are no more thoughts, simply and effortlessly the mind will become still. Enjoy the peace!

Anyone looking for financial stability or a better opportunity than a 9-5, please read on. My name is Alvin, I used to work a mediocre minimum wage job, constantly laboring with no real payoff, I had a baby on the way and I felt more and more trapped between a financial rock and hard place. I had low confidence and constant anxiety for my family’s future. Always thinking about what would happen when the baby came, all the hardships we would face if I didn’t act fast. I always had dreams of doing something bigger than what I had been, but never thought I had the means. In reality, I never had the mindset or the guidance. With the skills I learned from this Closure & Prospect pack, I’ve learned planning skills, anxiety management, and the art of conducting myself professionally; which have genuinely helped me start my career in affiliate marketing. As baby’s due date gets closer, I’m no longer finding myself stuck in patterns of anxiety and procrastination, with the steps I’ve taken using this premium package, I no longer have to struggle to pay my rent, because I work for myself, making thousands every month. I want to reach out to people like me to tell them that you can break out of that pattern! You can build your family’s future and control your own financial destiny! I’ve left the link that I used below, remember to trust in yourself and take charge of your future! I know you can, because if I did it, you can do it too
