SELFLESSNESS
“Feeling important makes one heavy, clumsy and vain. To be a warrior one needs to be light and fluid… Self-importance is man’s greatest enemy.” -Carlos Castaneda.
Once, there was a farmer who had an amazing Goose. Each day he would visit her nest and the Goose would lay a beautiful, golden egg.
The farmer would take the egg to market and soon afterwards he began to get rich. However, after a while he became greedy and felt that he was not getting rich fast enough.
One day, he came with an idea that he could get all the golden eggs at once by killing the Goose. After he finished the deed, he realized that not a single egg came out. He was devastated and realized that he had killed the golden goose that was giving him the golden eggs.

FORGIVENESS IS THE HEALING BALM OF LIFE
“Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on a heel that has crushed it.” -Mark Twain
LOVING SOULS OF TENDERNESS
Life is beautiful, graceful, marvelous but at times difficult and hurtful. There are moments when we go through harsh and painful situations. We feel wrong things are done to us, something negative said or a hurtful event against us and start to have feelings of hurtfulness and resentment.
Learning to Love Yourself
Love yourself —accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.” ~Leo F. Buscaglia
How much do you love who you are? How much beauty do you see within you?
WE ARE ALL beautiful children, shining our freedom, walking into life’s journey. We love ourselves, navigating through life, exploring and discovering each day.
BELIEVING that we love ourselves and deserve love is a vital component of our closer relationship with ourselves as it enables us to participate in intimate exchanges without experiencing the fear of vulnerability.
5 Types of Fear and How You Can Overcome Them
Is there anything I need to fear in this moment?
Am I safe in this very moment?
What will happen to me if I simply love the fear?
Can I let the story of this fear unfold and can I stay with the fear long enough to allow myself to unfold into it?
Fear is one of the biggest obstacles in life. There are many types of fear that we face in our day to day. It’s an incredibly powerful force that acts against us in everything we do, preventing us from truly experiencing life and our Divine destiny. And make no mistake, there is no human that is unencumbered by fear. Those who are courageous have simply learned to manage their fear better than others.
LIVE LIFE WITH PASSION
And therefore I look upon everything
as a brotherhood and a sisterhood,
and I look upon time as no more than an idea,
and I consider eternity as another possibility,
I think of each life as a flower, as common
as a field daisy, and as singular,
and each name a comfortable music in the mouth,
tending, as all music does, toward silence,
and each body a lion of courage, and something
precious to the earth.
When it’s over, I don’t want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don’t want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.
I don’t want to end up simply having visited this world
-Mary Oliver
Inner Peace to Outer Peace
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
… John 14:27
“Inner peace begins the moment, you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions.”
… Pema Chodron
“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”
… Gautama Buddha
“Ego says, Once Everything falls into Place, I’ll feel peace. Spirit says Find your Peace, and then Everything will fall Into place.”

Emotional Intelligence and Freedom
OBSERVING our emotions is as important as observing our thoughts. WE CAN FREE ourselves from the pain of negative emotions by no longer identifying who we are or think we are from the mind or the Ego. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE is feeling, knowing, and understanding our emotions and making choices. IT IS WHAT MAKES US TICK. CULTIVATING Emotional Intelligence is one of the most powerful ways to transform our life, become consciously aware of our beliefs, and feelings about our self.
Acceptance and Effort
Some of us are seeking continuously and dynamically to improve the quality of life for our self and others, while at the same time, we need to remember to accept at every stage the results of those efforts. We need a delicate balance of making efforts to improve ourselves and our surroundings and at the same time, accepting ourselves and the results of our efforts at every stage of that process.
