7 Spiritual Thoughts to Brighten Your Day
1. I am a blessed child of God.
I’m an immortal, invulnerable spirit. A soul in the process of evolution. I am a cell in the universal body of the universal spirit and I am continually in contact with that universal power at some level. I am protected and sustained by that power.
2. I am happy, peaceful, loving and content.
My value as a human being does not depend on how much I accomplish or how intelligent I am, or how attractive I appear, but on how sincere my intentions and efforts are and how much they are in agreement with my inner values.
Learning to Love Yourself
Love yourself —accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.” ~Leo F. Buscaglia
How much do you love who you are? How much beauty do you see within you?
WE ARE ALL beautiful children, shining our freedom, walking into life’s journey. We love ourselves, navigating through life, exploring and discovering each day.
BELIEVING that we love ourselves and deserve love is a vital component of our closer relationship with ourselves as it enables us to participate in intimate exchanges without experiencing the fear of vulnerability.
How Your Identity Creates Your Reality … I’m NOT GOOD ENOUGH
“You will never perform consistently in a manner which is inconsistent with how you see yourself.”
….Zig Ziglar
How do you see yourself and how is that image affecting your life?
What is showing up in your life?
Is it not working for you or not what you intended for your life?
5 Types of Fear and How You Can Overcome Them
Is there anything I need to fear in this moment?
Am I safe in this very moment?
What will happen to me if I simply love the fear?
Can I let the story of this fear unfold and can I stay with the fear long enough to allow myself to unfold into it?
Fear is one of the biggest obstacles in life. There are many types of fear that we face in our day to day. It’s an incredibly powerful force that acts against us in everything we do, preventing us from truly experiencing life and our Divine destiny. And make no mistake, there is no human that is unencumbered by fear. Those who are courageous have simply learned to manage their fear better than others.
How to Grow Spiritually… What We Seek, We Already Are
Most people long to experience spiritual growth. We all want to live a more harmonious life in which they feel a sense of inner peace and contentment. But few are able to satisfy the basic needs of love and peace. Many live lives full of stress, conflict, worry, fear, anxiety and other negative emotions. This is not who we are. We are Spirit; the universal consciousness, which is one with God. There is a spark of Divine in each of us that is unchanging, omnipresent, all knowing. We all have the ability to live our lives in a state of bliss.

WE HUMANS ARE MAGNIFICENT
We are nonstop creators; we give everything a story and meaning. We create something out of nothing; we cannot bear to live with the unknown. But take a second to imagine giving nothing a story or a label. Take a moment to quiet the mind and look at everything like it’s the first time, with pure eyes, you will see it for what it is, which is simply as it is.
In this expansive quiet place, you only have awareness of the presence of life. By letting it be … Just “be?” No, we can’t do that, we like to make things interesting. So, we make up more beliefs, create more and more and we expand our thoughts … But to where?
THE VOICE
“There is a voice inside of you
That whispers all day long,
I feel this is right for me,
I know that this is wrong.
No teacher, preacher, parent, friend
Or wise man can decide
What’s right for you–just listen to
The voice that speaks inside.”
― Shel Silverstein
Many people feel like they are failing in life or that life is failing them. This is painful and sometimes even feels unbearable. This is not who you are! This is only your perception of yourself.
LIVE LIFE WITH PASSION
And therefore I look upon everything
as a brotherhood and a sisterhood,
and I look upon time as no more than an idea,
and I consider eternity as another possibility,
I think of each life as a flower, as common
as a field daisy, and as singular,
and each name a comfortable music in the mouth,
tending, as all music does, toward silence,
and each body a lion of courage, and something
precious to the earth.
When it’s over, I don’t want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don’t want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.
I don’t want to end up simply having visited this world
-Mary Oliver
Reflection
Friends it’s cold outside but the fire in my heart is warm with wonderful memories of this year that is passing. It is a time to slow down and take solitude in our dwellings by the fire and pass our time in peaceful reflection.
Through the curious and wondrous process of self-discovery, we often stumble beautifully into the spaces between our thoughts and our suffering.
Living in Awareness challenges us to see everything from a higher perspective, discovering the truth that holds us all, daring us to mix the elements of world through our hearts and minds making all things visible. All of us are here to help unravel each other and to make our way back to love through the mirror of life.
ENGAGING OUR WILL POWER
“THE MORE YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR OWN ABILITY TO SUCCEED THE MORE LIKELY IT IS THAT YOU WILL” … Shawn Achor
EVERY EVENT, every outcome is an expression of love from the universe giving us the opportunity to realize the truth or not. We have free will. We can use these experiences for our ultimate purpose; to discover greater inner worth, security, freedom, and fulfillment. Or, we can sink into fear, discouragement, pain, bitterness, resentment, anger, guilt, hate, and/or helplessness. This is our free will.
