In partnership with Eudaimonia Center and themindisthemap.com, we are proud to announce that we’re offering 1 Free Trip to Greece to our Community to celebrate the official launch of our forum on our website. The community forum has been a few months in the making, and as of Monday January 14, it is officially up and running. Users can create user accounts in order to participate in forums, they can add friends, message other users directly, customize their profile, post blog articles to their profile blog, and even schedule a 1 on 1 session with Christina Reeves and/or Dimitrios Spanos, the authors of “The Mind is the Map”!
But how does the Free Trip to Greece work?
The free trip to Greece will be awarded based on referrals and participation in the community forum. It will be awarded to one lucky community member, and it will be based off of a point system rewarding the addition of helpful content to our forum discussions. The point system is as followed:
4 Points – Refer a Friend to our Community
If any Community Member refers a friend to our Community, that member will earn 4 points. Each Community Member has a unique Referral URL in their profile under the tab named ‘Refer and Earn’. Simply send this URL to anyone you think would enjoy being part of our forum, and if that friend creates a profile using your Referral URL, you’ll earn 4 points towards the competition!
3 Points – Create an Approved Topic in One of Our Forums
If you create a topic in one of our forums and it gets approved by the admins, you will earn 3 points towards the competition! To create a topic, just go to any one of our personal development forums and simply add a topic at the bottom of the forum. You must be logged in to add a topic, and that topic must be approved by the admins before it goes live on the site. Please keep topics relevant to the given forum, and avoid duplicate topics. Also, create a description of the topic so other users know what you are looking to discuss. Any spam or inappropriate/offensive topics will be deleted, and repeat offenders will be blocked from the site. Please see our forum rules for more details.
2 Points – Add a Reply to Any Topic
Community Members will earn 2 points for simply adding a reply to one of our Topics. To reply to a Topic, login with your User ID, and navigate to any one of our self help topics in the forum. On the bottom of the topic, you’ll see an input box to add your reply! Make sure your replies are relevant to the Topic and not offensive. All of our topics are monitored by our admins, so inappropriate replies will be removed and points will be taken away. Please see our forum rules for more details.
1 Point – Get a Like, Earn a Point!
If someone clicks ‘Like’ on any one of your Topics, Replies, or Blog Articles, you’ll receive a point! Every topic and reply has a like button on it, so if another user clicks that Like button, you’ll automatically receive a point. Also, you have the ability to write your own blog article on your Profile Page under the tab named ‘Blog’. When you post a blog, the rest of the community receives a notification in their profile with a link to read it. If your blog gets a like from another community member, you will also earn a point!
The ultimate goal for this contest is to reward participation and incentivize productive discussion within our community. Our ultimate goal in writing our book and creating this forum is to have an impact on people who need help and are seeking something more out of life. This forum allows us to actively engage with people who are looking for some sort of personal transformation.
